We have an "Open Door" policy, which means that any parent or guardian is free to observe and occasionally participate in classroom activities at any time.
All children are welcome and we have many programs available to meet the needs of our families. We are certified by the Early Learning Coalition to be a Voluntary Pre-K (VPK) and School Readiness Provider.

Our goal as a preschool is to help your child reach his or her potential through a positive, and engaging developmental program. First Steps Preschool strives to provide a motivating and nurturing educational environment for young children as they develop Kintergarten readiness skills.
It is our vision and belief at First Steps Preschool is that these early years are the "First Steps" of a child's success for the future. Our environment provides many hands-on activities and allows preschool children to creatively explore the world around them. We provide activities and experiences that help your child develop a sense of independence, self-confidence, and self-discipline. Our preschool curriculum responds to the needs of the children in their particular stage of development.
We look forward to a positive relationship between students, teachers, parents, and the community working together in the education process.
The creative curriculum we practice covers specific areas through learning centers which are language activities, pre-reading skills, math concepts, practical life activities, science, creative arts, and computers. We use many resources to enhance our programs as the outside world has much to teach. We plan at least once per month for in-house programs.

Most of our pre-school teachers have their CDA Credentials, and all are CPR & First Aid Certified in addition to having Pasco County Licensing and Florida State Requirements for employment with a licensed Child Care Program.
Our Director, Pastor Glenn Morris, has over twenty years experience in elementary education. He established a school for Pre-K - Eighth Grade for over 200 students in Palm Harbor, and a pre-school in Tarpon Springs for over 50 students.
This is his third school with present enrollment over 40 students.
Pastor Morris has a Seminary Degree, Associates Degree in Education, CDA, and Director's Credentials.
All rates are on a weekly basis due at the beginning of each week.
There is a one time, non-refundable, $75 registration & $30 mat fee per child.
Discounts available to members of the U.S. Military, Police, and Firefighters.
We accept ELC and VPK.
